Jaipur. The ‘Samriddhi Apartment Scheme’ of the Rajasthan Housing Board has received the prestigious SKOCH Gold Award. On behalf of the Board, Housing Commissioner Dr. Rashmi Sharma accepted this award at a ceremony held on Saturday at the India Habitat Centre in Delhi. Housing Commissioner Dr. Rashmi Sharma stated that receiving recognition at the national level has restored the Board’s reputation among the general public. Expressing her delight at receiving the SKOCH Gold Award, she extended her congratulations to the entire team of the Board. She explained that two types of flats were constructed under the Samriddhi residential scheme: while the estimated price for a 960 sq. ft. flat was 33 lakh rupees, and that for an 1100 sq. ft. flat was 36 lakh rupees, the Board—while maintaining the same high quality—offered the 960 sq. ft. flats for 31 lakh rupees and the 1100 sq. ft. flats for 35 lakh rupees. She further mentioned that recently, during the ‘Urban Services Camp’ organized by the State Government, the Minister for Urban Development and Housing, Jhabar Singh Kharra, handed over allotment letters to 159 allottees of the Samriddhi Apartments. Dr. Sharma affirmed that the Rajasthan Housing Board has prioritized quality, transparency, and timeliness in its schemes. She noted that the “Samriddhi Apartments” project stands as a successful example of providing housing equipped with modern amenities to common citizens at affordable rates. She added that the Board is now moving beyond traditional construction methods to focus on technological innovation and citizen-centric projects.  It is noteworthy that, prior to this, over the past two years, the Board has received the IBC Award for Fountain Square Park and Exposition Ground; the BEE 5-Star Rating Award for its headquarters from the Ministry of Power, Government of India; an award for the Board’s ‘Mahi’ scheme from NAREDCO; and an award for ‘SS Residency’ from the Indian Concrete Institute. Chief Engineers Amit Agarwal and Tejveer Singh Meena, along with other officials, were also present on this occasion.
