District President Maheshwari stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party has always been committed to strengthening women’s rights, dignity, and political representation. The Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam is a historic effort to ensure women’s participation in decision-making and a significant step toward providing equal opportunities.
She said that the failure of such an important bill in the Lok Sabha not only hurts the aspirations of women but also raises concerns about democratic values. According to her, the opposition, including the Congress party, bringing down this bill reflects their anti-women mindset.
Maheshwari further added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a clear vision that women should not remain merely beneficiaries but become active participants in policymaking. With this vision, the BJP government has taken several historic steps to empower women.
She also said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, the central government stands firmly with the nation’s women and continues to work for their dignity, safety, and empowerment.
