Emphasis on Effective Implementation; Directives Issued to Deliver Timely Benefits to Target Groups

Jaipur. Chief Secretary V. Srinivas stated that the 20-Point Programme (TPP) is a significant initiative among the State Government’s priorities, through which poverty eradication and the socio-economic empowerment of vulnerable and deprived sections of society are being ensured. He directed all concerned departments to ensure the effective implementation of schemes through coordinated efforts, delivering the benefits of the programme to the targeted groups in a time-bound and transparent manner. In this context, a high-level meeting chaired by the Chief Secretary was held at the Secretariat on Monday to review the progress achieved up to February 2026 for the financial year 2025-26. While reviewing the district-wise and scheme-wise progress of the programme with officials from the concerned departments, he issued necessary directives for the improved implementation of these schemes.
The Chief Secretary directed the Medical and Health Department to ensure that operation theaters in all Community Health Centers (CHCs) are made fully functional, thereby enabling the provision of better healthcare services to the general public. He also emphasized the optimal utilization of institutional services and the strengthening of health infrastructure. Furthermore, he issued directives to accelerate housing construction under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), to promote demand-driven works under MGNREGA, and to strengthen livelihood empowerment through the National Rural Livelihood Mission. He instructed that district-specific and time-bound improvement plans be formulated for underperforming areas, and that institutional outcomes be further enhanced by strengthening service delivery in the social sectors.
The Chief Secretary directed that the regular conduct of monthly review meetings for the first and second-level committees constituted at the district level under the 20-Point Programme be ensured, and called for special attention to be paid to the accuracy and timely submission of data reports. He issued directives to establish better coordination among various schemes, accelerate implementation at the field level, and ensure accountability through regular reviews.

Mandawariya, and Director (Technical) Jaipur Discom R.K. Sharma, along with other senior officials.
