Over 6,000 Tourists Catch a Glimpse of Wildlife in a Single Day

Nahargarh Biological Park is fast becoming the top choice for tourists. On Sunday, the park witnessed a record-breaking crowd of visitors, as more than 6,000 tourists arrived in a single day to catch a glimpse of the wildlife.
ACF Devendra Singh Rathore stated that the pleasant change in weather and the fact that it was a holiday attracted a large number of tourists to the park. On Sunday, a total of 6,029 visitors toured the park and enjoyed the experience of viewing wildlife up close—marking the highest single-day tourist footfall recorded to date. He noted that the Lion Safari and Tiger Safari remained the primary attractions for visitors during this period. A total of 457 tourists enjoyed the thrilling experience offered by these two safaris. The roars of the tigers and the majestic gait of the lions left the visitors spellbound.
Currently, the Tiger and Lion Safaris operating within Nahargarh Biological Park serve as a major attraction—not only for the residents of Jaipur but also for tourists arriving from other districts and states. Situated close to the city, this unique blend of natural greenery and wildlife offers tourists an unparalleled experience of adventure combined with a delightful family outing.
Under the guidance of Deputy Conservator of Forests Vijaypal Singh, special attention is being paid to ensuring the safety, amenities, and overall management of visitors within the park. On Sunday, ACF Devendra Singh Rathore and Ranger Shubham Sharma conducted intensive monitoring of the safaris to personally review and oversee the arrangements.
Under the supervision of ACF Rathore, the Tourism Management Team ensured the effective management of safari operations and crowd control. Tourists were provided with comprehensive assistance regarding ticketing, vehicle facilities, guidance, and sanitation arrangements. Thanks to the continuous monitoring and systematic management of the Forest Department, Nahargarh Biological Park has today emerged as one of the state’s leading and most popular wildlife tourism destinations. This park serves not only as a powerful example of environmental conservation but is also increasingly becoming a major hub for educational and entertaining experiences for tourists.
