Jaipur. On Tuesday, on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma paid obeisance at the Gurdwara located in Pratap Nagar, Jaipur, and prayed for the prosperity of the state. Extending his greetings to everyone on the festival of Baisakhi, the Chief Minister stated that this is not merely a harvest festival, but a symbol of new enthusiasm and new beginnings in life. He remarked that when a farmer’s hard work flourishes in the fields, a sense of contentment settles in every heart.

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma observed that the Sikh community has played a pivotal role in nation-building through its spirit of service and dedication. The sacrifices they have made for the country are truly commendable. He added that, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the work of national development is being carried forward with the spirit of *‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, aur Sabka Prayas’* (Support of all, Development for all, Trust of all, and Effort of all). In this context, the construction of the Kartarpur Corridor and the decision to observe December 26th as ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ (Brave Children’s Day) are historic milestones

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma stated that it was on this very day that Guru Gobind Singh Ji, through the establishment of the Khalsa Panth, initiated a tradition that serves as a reminder that living for the sake of truth is the foremost characteristic of humanity. Furthermore, the practice of sitting together in a *Pangat* (community row) at the Gurdwara to partake of *Prasad* teaches us that the true strength of society lies in moving forward together. There is perhaps no other tradition in the world that imparts the lesson of equality with such profound simplicity.

On this occasion, the Gurdwara Management Committee felicitated the Chief Minister by presenting him with a *Kirpan* (ceremonial sword). The event was attended by several public representatives—including Law and Justice Minister Jogaram Patel—along with office-bearers of the Gurdwara Management Committee, prominent members of the Sikh community, and a large number of devotees.
