Major Action by Arnod Police Under ‘Operation Trinetra’
Complete Setup for MD (Methamphetamine) Production Recovered

Under ‘Operation Trinetra’—a special campaign currently underway in Pratapgarh district to combat narcotics—the Arnod Police Station team has achieved a major breakthrough by busting an illegal drugs factory and seizing a massive quantity of chemicals used in the production of MD (Methamphetamine). The estimated value of the seized materials is pegged at approximately ₹50 lakh.
Conducted under the direction of District Superintendent of Police B. Aditya, this operation was executed under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Gajendra Singh Jodha and Deputy Superintendent of Police Chandrashekhar Paliwal. The team, constituted under the leadership of Station House Officer Shivlal Meena, achieved this significant success through swift and decisive action.
The police received intelligence via an informer stating that the accused, Arbaz—son of Qayyum Khan and a resident of Devaldi—had hidden chemicals intended for MD production amidst the bushes within a drainage channel near the graveyard, located on the route leading from Devaldi to Paduni. Upon corroborating this information, the police team immediately rushed to the scene and launched an intensive search operation.
During the search, six jerrycans hidden within the bushes were recovered. These containers were found to hold a total of 46.062 kilograms of various chemicals, including MDC, Hydrochloric Acid, Ammonia, Bromo, Acetone, and MMA. Additionally, several pieces of equipment used in the manufacture of MD were recovered from the site; these items included plastic buckets, glass jars, electric heaters, electronic weighing scales, halogen lights, magnetic stirrers, and other miscellaneous materials. The police have seized all chemicals and equipment and have registered a case at the Arnod Police Station. In connection with this matter, the accused, Arbaz, has been named, and a search for him is currently underway. Officers and personnel from the Arnod Police Station played a pivotal role in this entire operation; their vigilance and swift action made this success possible.
