Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the freed, nomadic, and semi-nomadic communities are an integral part of Indian civilization and culture. This community, rooted in the soil, is an epitome of sacrifice and dedication. He expressed confidence that the state government is dedicated to the welfare and empowerment of this community.
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma was addressing the Mahasammelan of Denotified, Nomadic, and Semi-Nomadic Community Officers, Employees, and Intellectuals held in the auditorium of Adarsh Vidya Mandir in Ambabari on Sunday. He said that our government has taken concrete steps to empower Denotified, Nomadic, and Semi-Nomadic communities. Our government distributed residential leases to provide shelter to nomadic families and arranged hostels for the education of their children.
*Education of children from nomadic families will be ensured*

The Chief Minister said that in the budget year 2026-27, we have launched the innovative Raj Pahal program for the education of children from nomadic communities. Under this program, in the first phase, a school on wheels will be established in each district. This program will prove to be a milestone in the field of education. In addition, temporary education camps will be organized in migration-affected areas and six-month school readiness camps will be organized in educational divisions. This will ensure access to education for children who are deprived of regular schooling due to migration and emigration.
*The Nomadic Community’s Important Contribution to Our Culture*

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma stated that the nomadic community has played a significant role in the nation’s culture. These communities fought against foreign invaders and preserved our culture. Before independence, this community played a significant role in the country’s economy, going from village to village to educate the public. He stated that this community possesses many skills and traditional knowledge and has always remained connected to its culture and traditions. The community’s iron-craft art is renowned worldwide. The Banjara community’s business acumen and their traveling tradition have been the backbone of Indian trade routes.
The Chief Minister stated that this grand conference is a resolution to uplift the community, honor its identity, and establish a strong place in the mainstream of development. He urged the youth of the community to play their role in the development of the country and the state. He assured them of suggestions related to the welfare and upliftment of the nomadic community.

*Chief Minister distributed Prasad to pilgrims*
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma had a cordial meeting with pilgrims going to Khatushyam near Ambabari. During this, he also distributed Prasad to the pilgrims at a community feast. The public was enthusiastic to have the Chief Minister among them.
Present on this occasion were State Minister for Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Otaram Dewasi, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Regional Executive Member Hanuman Singh, Head of Nomadic Action, Rajasthan Region Mahendra Singh, Public Rights Committee Member Rakesh Bidawat, along with representatives of the nomadic community, social workers, and intellectuals.
