Benefits of Schemes Reaching the Last Person Through Village Development Camps Across the State

Under the visionary initiative of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, village development camps are being organized at every Girdawar circle level across the state with the objective of connecting farmers, livestock owners, and rural citizens with the welfare schemes of the Central and State Governments. So far, these camps have been successfully organized in 1512 Girdawar circles of the state, bringing the schemes, programs, and services of 13 major departments of the state government to the common people on a single platform. These camps provide villagers with facilities for preparing application forms for various government schemes, information on the current status of previously submitted applications, document verification, and on-the-spot guidance. The state government intends that the benefits of development schemes effectively reach the last person in rural areas. In this regard, the remaining village development camps of the second phase are being organized from February 5th to 9th.
*Significant Benefits for Livestock Owners*
During the camps, the Animal Husbandry Department registered 92,000 animals and issued health certificates under the Chief Minister Mangala Animal Insurance Scheme. In addition, more than 77,000 vaccinations were administered to prevent Classical Swine Fever, artificial insemination was performed on 5,352 animals, more than 26,400 fertility kits were distributed, and 511,000 animals were given primary medical treatment and deworming medicine.
Multifaceted Support for Farmers
The Agriculture, Horticulture, and Agricultural Marketing Departments provided information on MSP (Minimum Support Price) to more than 637,000 farmers, while 742,000 farmers were informed about various agricultural schemes. In addition, more than 98,000 Soil Health Cards were distributed, applications for polyhouses were prepared in over 2,800 Gram Panchayats, and cases of 2,923 farmers under the Chief Minister’s Kisan Saathi Sahayata Yojana (Farmer’s Companion Assistance Scheme) were resolved. Proposals for the construction of 2,938 farmer rest areas were also prepared in Gram Panchayats lacking passenger rest facilities at bus stands.
*Strengthening Cooperatives and Rural Development*
The Cooperative Department received more than 29,800 applications for Kisan Credit Cards and provided information on cooperative loan schemes to more than 377,000 farmers. Along with this, 2,443 new Custom Hiring Centers, 565 provisional dairy cooperative societies, 513 dairy cooperative societies were registered, and 683 Saras booths were allotted.
Under rural development schemes, more than 31,000 surveys were conducted under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Yojana, more than 55,800 ownership cards were distributed, and Gram Panchayat offices were started in 1008 unused school buildings. In addition, 3,857 Water User Associations were activated, 14,737 youth self-employment applications, 14,430 farmer registrations, 28,908 PM Surya Ghar Yojana applications, and 1,469 land survey division applications were received.
*Services of 13 Departments at One Place*
In the Gram Utthan (Village Upliftment) camps, services from the Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Marketing, Cooperatives, Animal Husbandry, Dairy, Fisheries, Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Water Resources, Industry, Energy, and Revenue departments are being provided at a single location.
*Special Focus on Public Participation and Women’s Empowerment*
More than 13.91 lakh farmers, livestock owners, villagers, and public representatives have participated in the camps held so far, including 15,876 public representatives. With a focus on women’s empowerment, over 4.12 lakh women and more than 9.17 lakh men have attended the camps to receive information and benefits from various schemes.
Timely and Transparent Solutions
Through the Gram Utthan (Village Development) camps, applications are being received, pending cases are being reviewed, eligible beneficiaries are being registered, certificates are being issued, health and animal husbandry services are being provided, cooperative loan and insurance processes are being facilitated, and schemes are being widely publicized.
As per the instructions of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, timely, transparent, and high-quality resolution of all applications is being ensured, and the real benefits of the schemes are being delivered to rural citizens. These camps are being organized across the state from 10 AM to 5 PM, strongly demonstrating the state government’s commitment to rural development.
