Deeg/Jaipur: On the occasion of the Mundiya Purnima (Guru Purnima) fair on Tuesday, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, accompanied by his wife, visited the Shrinathji Temple at Poonchri ka Lautha in Deeg district and performed rituals and prayers. He prayed for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the state.
The Chief Minister interacted warmly with devotees along the Saptkosi Govardhan Parikrama route. During the visit, he served water at a *pyau* (public water station) in Poonchri and distributed *prasadi* (sanctified food) from the *bhandara* (community feast) to the devotees. He also showered flower petals upon the pilgrims undertaking the *padyatra* (foot pilgrimage). Great enthusiasm was evident among the devotees and local residents upon seeing the Chief Minister in their midst. They raised chants of “Giriraj Maharaj Ki Jai” and “Radhe-Radhe,” extending a warm welcome and greeting to the Chief Minister.
It is noteworthy that every year, on the occasion of the Mundiya Purnima (Guru Purnima) fair, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma serves the devotees at Poonchri on the Govardhan Parikrama route with a spirit of dedicated service by distributing cool water and *prasadi*.
State Minister for Home Affairs Jawahar Singh Bedham, Chairman of the Rajasthan Heritage Authority Omkar Singh Lakhawat, MLA Dr. Shailesh Singh, along with various public representatives, officials, and members of the general public, were present on this occasion.
