Jaipur: A massive meeting and interactive session for party workers was organized today in the Civil Lines Assembly constituency under the chairmanship of former Cabinet Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas to prepare for the upcoming municipal corporation and Panchayati Raj elections. A large number of Congress office-bearers and workers attended the gathering.

Addressing the meeting, Pratap Singh Khachariyawas issued detailed guidelines to the workers regarding the upcoming municipal body elections. He called for further strengthening the organization at the ward, booth, and polling station levels, listening to the grievances of the general public, and taking Congress’s policies and ideologies to every household. He also discussed in detail the strategy to contest the election effectively and ensure victory.

Khachariyawas stated that the countdown for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state has begun. The public is now looking towards the Congress with hope and desires change. He expressed confidence that the Congress would perform exceptionally well across Rajasthan in the municipal body and Panchayati Raj elections and would form its own boards.

Pratap Singh Khachariyawas clearly stated that individuals who did not stand with Rahul Gandhi and the Congress during the elections for the eight Assembly seats and the Lok Sabha seat in Jaipur—and have only recently joined the party—would not be given tickets immediately. He emphasized that the hard work and loyalty of those who stood by the party during difficult times would be honored, whereas newcomers would need to prove their commitment over time.

Khachariyawas noted the visible enthusiasm, zeal, and unity among Congress workers. He asserted that if all workers enter the electoral fray with full strength and dedication, a Congress victory in the municipal body and Panchayati Raj elections is certain, and the BJP will suffer a severe political setback. At the meeting, Pratap Singh Khachariyawas assured Congress workers that if the BJP government commits any injustice or engages in the harassment of any party worker, he would be the first to stand by them. He told the workers that there was no need for fear or anxiety, as the party stands firmly behind them. In his address, he said, “If the BJP government dares to cast a hostile eye on any Congress worker, I will be the first to stand in its path. No one needs to be afraid. We will respond to the BJP government’s lathis with lathis and to their bullets with bullets. Atrocities against any Congress worker will not be tolerated. Pratap Singh Khachariyawas stands as a shield for every worker.”During the meeting, the workers also pledged to ensure a Congress victory in the upcoming elections with full force.
