773 cases e-heard in just two months

Jaipur. The e-hearing system launched by the JDA, furthering Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma’s commitment to good governance, is yielding significant results for the prompt, transparent, and effective resolution of public problems. Through this initiative, citizens are now able to have their problems heard from the comfort of their homes and receive timely resolution.
During the last two months, the JDA conducted e-hearings for a total of 773 cases, with officials communicating directly with applicants and making prompt decisions on various types of cases. This system has not only relieved the public from frequent visits to offices, but has also strengthened transparency and accountability in the administrative process.
JDA Commissioner Siddharth Mahajan stated that under the guidance of Urban Development and Housing Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra, the JDA is continuously striving to promote good governance, transparency, and digital innovation. In line with this vision, the JDA has effectively implemented initiatives like e-hearing, ensuring simple, accessible, and timely resolution of citizens’ problems.
The JDC further stated that e-hearing facilitates direct hearings between the concerned officials and applicants via video conferencing. This facilitates quick resolution of cases and makes the decision-making process more transparent. Data from the past two months demonstrates the public’s satisfaction with this approach.
The JDA will continue to make continuous efforts to maximize the use of digital media to simplify and enhance public services, ensuring better and more accountable governance for the public.
