Indian Air Force felicitates civil officials for their invaluable contribution to the air show

Jaipur. A special felicitation ceremony was held at Air Force Station, Jaipur on Tuesday to recognize senior civil administration officials for their invaluable contribution to the daring and successful air displays performed by the Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team and the Sarang Helicopter Display Team on the Jal Mahal embankment in Jaipur on February 20 and 22, 2026.
Air Marshal Tejinder Singh, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, South Western Air Command, said that the general public participated with great enthusiasm in these air displays on the historic Jal Mahal embankment. The event not only showcased the precision flying and professionalism of the Indian Air Force, but also highlighted the strong coordination between the Air Force and the civil administration.
He stressed on continued and strong cooperation between the Indian Air Force and the civil administration in organizing such large public outreach events in the future as well. He honored Naveen Jain, Principal Secretary, General Administration Department, Government of Rajasthan, Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni, District Collector, Jaipur, Sachin Mittal, Police Commissioner, Jaipur, Aditya Narayan Rawat, Superintending Engineer, Public Works Department, Jaipur by presenting them with certificates for their excellent cooperation and support in the Indian Air Force Airshow. Nancy Singh, Regional President, Air Force Family Welfare Association, South-Western Air Command and Group Captain Vinay Bhardwaj, Station Commander, Air Force Station Jaipur were also present on the occasion.
