Enforcement Squad Clears Government Land of Encroachment

Jaipur. In line with Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma’s vision of zero tolerance against corruption, encroachment, and irregularities, and good governance, the Jaipur Development Authority is continuing its campaign to free government land from encroachment. In this sequence, the JDA’s Enforcement Squad has taken strict action and launched a special Zero Tolerance Campaign to effectively demolish illegal constructions.
Under this special campaign of the Jaipur Development Authority, illegal constructions were demolished at various locations and government land was freed from encroachment.
Chief Controller Enforcement Shilpa Chaudhary informed that as per the instructions of Commissioner Siddharth Mahajan, Khasra No. of village Machwan, District Jaipur, located in the jurisdiction of Zone-12, has been demolished. On receiving information about encroachment on about 1.5 bigha valuable government land in 457/1077 by constructing a room, tin shed like structure, boundary wall, other things, the encroachment was removed today in the presence of Enforcement Officer Zone-12 on the directions of Revenue and Technical Staff of Zone-12 by the Enforcement Squad with the help of JCB machine labourers and the valuable government land was made encroachment free.
It is noteworthy that on Saturday, about 15 bigha valuable government land situated in Khasra No. 748 of JDA’s scheme ‘Dev Vihar’ was made encroachment free by the Enforcement Cell. This land had been illegally occupied by encroachers by erecting kutcha and pucca houses, tin sheds, toilets, boundary walls, slums, thatched roofs, cement pillars, barbed wire and barbed wire fencing, and by placing earthen pots and kilns. Following the directions of JDA revenue and technical staff, the enforcement squad demolished all these illegal structures with the help of JCB machines and laborers. According to JDA officials, the estimated value of this freed government land is approximately Rs 30 crore.
Similarly, on Sunday, a notice was issued to the builder under Sections 32 and 33 of the JDA Act, directing him to remove illegal construction on plot number 45 of the 10B Extension Scheme near Triveni Nagar, located in the jurisdiction of Zone 5A. But when the builder did not remove the illegal construction, after getting approval from the competent level, a notice under Section 34 (a) was issued and today on 08.03.2026, with the help of the engineering branch, the entry gates of the said illegal construction were sealed by building a brick wall and putting a lock, seal and a padlock as per the rules.
Apart from this, on Friday also, on receiving information about encroachment by erecting cement pillars and fencing on about 06 bigha valuable government land owned by JDA in Kalwad Road, village Mundota, district Jaipur, situated in the jurisdiction of Zone-12, the encroachment was removed with the help of JCB machine labourers by the enforcement squad on the directions of revenue and technical staff of Zone-12, today in the presence of Enforcement Officer Zone-12, and the valuable government land was freed from encroachment.
On receiving information about setting up of a new illegal colony by constructing mud-gravel roads, boundary walls of two under-construction plots and other illegal constructions by levelling the land on about 03 bigha private agricultural land in Khasra No. 281 and 294 of Jaipur district near village Niwaru situated in the jurisdiction of Zone-12 by JDA, without the approval and sanction of JDA and without getting the land converted, the enforcement squad on the directions of the revenue and technical staff of Zone-12, with the help of JCB machine and labourers, demolished the attempt of setting up a new illegal colony at the initial stage itself.

All the above actions were carried out by the enforcement squad on the directions of the Deputy Controller Enforcement, the concerned enforcement officer and the available force in the authority, labor guards and revenue and technical staff posted in the zone.
