Instructions given for accelerating development work and prompt disposal of public grievance

With the aim of strengthening the state government’s efficiency and commitment to public service, a review meeting of district-level officials was held on Monday under the chairmanship of Additional District Collector Rajkumar Kaswan. Held in the Panchayat Samiti auditorium, Deeg, the meeting thoroughly reviewed the current status of development projects, infrastructure works, and public grievances being addressed in various areas of the district.
*Transportation Infrastructure: Review of Kaman and Deeg Bus Stands*
During the meeting, the progress of the construction and operation of the Kaman Bus Stand was specifically discussed. The Additional District Collector sought feedback from the concerned officials regarding the current status of the project. A representative from the Agriculture Marketing Board informed that the construction of the Kaman Bus Stand has been completed and handed over to the concerned department. Following the review, Kaswan directed that the construction of the Deeg Bus Stand be completed on a priority basis and ensure its immediate handover, so that the public can quickly access accessible transportation facilities.
*Public Hearing and Redressal of Portal Complaints*
Underlining administrative sensitivity, the Additional District Collector conducted a department-wise review of pending cases registered on the Rajasthan Sampark Portal. He gave clear instructions to the officials of Kumher Electricity Department, Public Works Department, Jaipur Electricity Distribution Corporation Limited Deeg and Agriculture Department to ensure quality and timely disposal of public complaints registered on the portal. He said that any kind of administrative laxity or unnecessary delay in solving public problems will be viewed seriously.
*Devnarayan Residential School: Emphasis on Quality and Timeliness*
Reviewing the progress of the Devnarayan Residential School project, a significant area of education, the Additional District Collector held the implementing agency accountable for the quality of construction work. He directed that the school building be completed in accordance with established standards and high quality, ensuring a safe and comfortable educational environment for students in the future. At the end of the meeting, Additional District Collector Rajkumar Kaswan addressed all district-level officials, stating that the state government’s primary objective is to provide good governance to the last person. He directed officials to work in coordination with each other and conduct field visits to physically verify development projects. He emphasized that the benefits of government schemes should reach eligible individuals with transparency.
