Assembly Speaker Devnani inaugurates development works worth over one crore rupee

Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani on Friday inaugurated development works worth over one crore rupees at various locations in Ajmer city. He said that more than 110 crore rupees have been spent on road development in Ajmer. Other development works worth hundreds of crores of rupees have also been carried out. This pace of development will continue uninterrupted.
Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani said that every possible effort will be made to make Ajmer a superior and ideal city, and for this, every citizen will also have to fulfill their responsibility. He said that development is a continuous process that has been going on continuously for the past one and a half years and will continue in the coming years as well. Devnani was addressing the gathering on Friday at the inauguration of road, drain, and safety wall construction works in various wards of Ajmer city.
He informed that in wards number 72 and 73, drain construction work has been started in Anand Nagar and Vikaspuri areas at a cost of approximately 21.55 lakh rupees, and road construction work has been started from the community hall in Kailashpuri to Vijay Mathur’s house and in front of Hillview School. In addition, drain and safety wall construction work has been started at Cineworld Chowk, Ajmer, under Ward number 3, from Cineworld Chowk to Bandi River crossing. The total cost is 88.70 lakh rupees.  Road construction work has also been started in Banjara Basti in Ward 3 at a cost of 7.30 lakh rupees. Thus, development works worth more than one crore rupees were inaugurated and launched.
Devnani said that so far, road construction work has been done at a cost of more than 110 crore rupees in the Ajmer North assembly constituency. He said that along with roads, the construction of drains and sewers is equally essential.  In this regard, drains are being constructed in the Ajmer North area at a cost of approximately 60 crore rupees. This will provide a permanent solution to the drainage problem. He said that there would be no compromise on the quality of development works.
He mentioned the reforms being made in the medical sector and said that a speaker help desk has been started at Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital to assist patients.  Approximately 12,000 patients have benefited from this so far. He informed that financial approval is being continuously given for the construction of the medical college in Ajmer, and a financial sanction of 200 crore rupees has been issued for the construction of the super-specialty block. This will make it possible to treat serious diseases in Ajmer itself.
Devnani said that the construction work of the satellite hospital in Kotra is in progress. It is currently being operated on a temporary basis.  Planned efforts are also being made to solve the drinking water problem.  To ensure uninterrupted power supply, a gas-based GSS (Grid Substation) will be established in the Hathibhata area.
To promote tourism, projects such as a science park, planetarium, leopard safari for eco-tourism, and the installation of a statue of Varuna Dev under the beautification of Varun Sagar are being undertaken in the city. An IT park has been established to provide employment opportunities to the youth.
New colleges and schools are also being opened in the education sector. Funds have been sanctioned for the Sainik School, and the Gandhi Bhavan Library is being expanded for the benefit of students.
Devnani informed that a bill related to the Ayurveda University is also going to be passed in the assembly session.
He said that to enhance national pride, the names of symbols of slavery have been changed, and the cultural identity of the city is being strengthened. He appealed to the public to contribute to building a better Ajmer by remaining dedicated to Sanatan values.
