The state is ready to welcome participants from India and abroad

Industry and Commerce Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathore said that the India Stonemart will provide a boost to Rajasthan’s stone industry. The state’s artisans will be able to learn about the latest technology in this field from within the country and abroad. Organized under the joint auspices of RIICO, CIDOS, and Laghu Udyog Bharti, this event will serve as an international platform for policy dialogue, technology, and global collaboration.
Addressing a press conference on India Stonemart 2026 on Friday, Colonel Rathore said that Rajasthan is fully prepared to welcome participants from India and abroad. This year marks the 13th edition of India Stonemart, which was launched in 2000 to provide an international platform for all stakeholders in the stone industry. This will be the largest such event to date. Exhibitors from China, Turkey, Iran, Thailand, Italy, and other countries will also participate.
*ODOP Pavilion to be Special*
Colonel Rathore stated that a special pavilion will be set up at the event to showcase stone products selected under the “One District, One Product” initiative in Rajasthan. This will provide national and international recognition to these products. This will increase exports of these products and create employment opportunities.
New Direction Given by Clear Leadership and Policy for the State
Colonel Rathore stated that Rajasthan has received a new direction through clear leadership and policy. In the last two years, new policies and schemes have been implemented to promote investment. These efforts by the state government have made Rajasthan a promising investment destination. Of the ₹35 lakh crore worth of MoUs signed under Rising Rajasthan, work has begun on MoUs worth over ₹8 lakh crore.
*State government providing employment in both the government and private sectors*
Colonel Rathore stated that in the last two years, the state government has done excellent work in providing employment to youth. So far, over 100,000 youth have been appointed in the government sector, and the recruitment process for 1.54 lakh positions is progressing rapidly. Investment agreements are being implemented to provide employment to youth in the private sector. In this regard, Rising Rajasthan, the Pravasi Rajasthani Diwas, was successfully organized. Additionally, the Department of Industry and Commerce recently launched a new scheme to encourage youth in the state to start their own businesses. Under this scheme, the Chief Minister’s Youth Self-Employment Scheme, interest-free loans of up to ₹10 lakh will be provided. The target is to benefit 100,000 youth.
Present at the press conference were Manisha Arora, Managing Director of RUDA, Natwar Ajmera, Convenor of Stonemart, Naresh Pareek, National Secretary of Laghu Udyog Bharati, Anju Singh, and former National Treasurer Yogesh Gautam, Mukul Rastogi, CEO of CIDOS, and Deepak Ajmera, Chairman, among other dignitaries.

Participation of international visitors, buyers, architects, developers, and industry representatives from over 20 countries, including the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, Greece, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Mauritius, Germany, and Russia.
