Saturday, January 17th, was a very special day in the art world when the Deputy Chief Minister of the state and Minister of Tourism, Art and Culture, Diya Kumari, grandly inaugurated the three-day “Melody of Colors” solo exhibition featuring the artworks of renowned watercolor artist Dr. Sushma Mahajan at the Alankar Art Gallery of Jawahar Kala Kendra.
After admiring and closely observing the 60 watercolor paintings displayed by Dr. Sushma Mahajan, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari spoke to reporters, saying, “These artworks created by Dr. Sushma Mahajan are truly excellent, simply amazing.” She added, “These emotions brought to life in watercolors are beyond imagination.”
Deeply impressed by the exquisite artworks, Deputy Chief Minister Diya said, “These watercolor paintings by Dr. Sushma have been meticulously crafted, with vibrant colors and her artistic skill representing human emotions.”
Diya Kumari said that Dr. Sushma Mahajan is truly a master of watercolor art.
Dr. Sushma’s art, in which she has mastered watercolors, is unique in the state, the country, and the entire creative world, and is raising the flag of Rajasthan’s art and culture across the country and the world.
It is noteworthy that art lovers can view this three-day exhibition until January 19th, daily from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Approximately *60 watercolor paintings* are on display in this exhibition. Among these, *22 new artworks* have been specially created for this exhibition. Additionally, selected works previously exhibited in Paris, Jaipur, and New Delhi were also included.
