Swarn Jayanti Park – Design Concept
The proposed Swarn Jayanti Park project site near Vidyadhar Nagar, spread over approximately 25.00 hectares, is envisioned as a holistic and vibrant urban green space, divided into four main zones—Oxygen Park, Activity and Children’s Area, Science Park, and Mazar Dam Development Area. The Oxygen Park, spread over approximately 4.20 hectares, is designed as an environmental retreat, incorporating garden sculptures, green arches, a musical fountain, walking tracks, and an open-air theatre, while preserving the existing mature trees.

The plan also proposes the development of an approximately 1.0 km long approach road with ample parking near the entrance plaza. The entrance plaza is designed in the form of a fort wall using exposed random masonry. This courtyard-shaped plaza will feature a reception and ticket counter, along with a towering national flag.
A hillock with debris is present to the north of the road. This area is proposed to be developed into a beautiful flower valley using multi-colored bougainvillea flowering plants.
The Children’s Area and Science Park (approximately 3.80 hectares) will offer a unique experiential activity zone for children and families. It will include a dinosaur-themed entrance, a maze garden, science-themed play equipment, cascading water features, and a lily pool with a café. An elevated landscaped area with bridges over the rainwater drain will ensure smooth movement.

The Mazar Dam will be developed into a lake of approximately 8.90 hectares, collecting clean rainwater from the surrounding hills. Beautifully landscaped embankments, decks, dense plantations, and a Miyawaki forest of approximately 3.8 hectares are proposed around the lake.
The estimated cost of the project is approximately ₹65.00 crore. Once developed, Swarn Jayanti Park has the potential to become one of the major tourist attractions in Jaipur city.
