He said that our state government, by maintaining transparency in the recruitment process, eliminating corruption and respecting merit, is providing jobs to the youth of Rajasthan ‘without recommendations and without any cost’.

Keeping this in mind, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma’s government has not only stopped paper leaks but also strengthened law and order and, under the leadership of the Prime Minister, has worked to make Rajasthan a leading state for investment in the entire country. As a result, investors from all over the country are now competing to invest in Rajasthan.

The Union Home Minister said that the Rajasthan Police force ranks among the leading and capable police forces in the country. Congratulating the newly selected constables on receiving their appointment letters, he said that the young people who have received their uniforms today should focus completely on their training with a calm mind and thereafter, through their work, ensure the service and security of the public, thus realizing the resolve for a safe Rajasthan. He expressed happiness that more than 2,500 women were among the selected constables. Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that in this state, with its more than 1,000-kilometer-long border with Pakistan, the rugged ravines of Chambal, the Thar Desert, tourist destinations like Ajmer Sharif Dargah, Pushkar, Nathdwara, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Jodhpur, and Jaipur, and natural sites like Ranthambore, Sariska, and Keoladeo, the geographical conditions further increase the challenges for the police. He said that in the two years since our government came to power in Rajasthan, there has been a more than 14 percent reduction in total crimes. Serious crimes have decreased by 19 percent, murders by 25 percent, attempted murders by 19 percent, atrocities against women by 10 percent, crimes against Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes by 28 percent, dacoity cases by 47 percent, and robbery cases by approximately 51 percent.

In this regard, a significant step has been taken with the establishment of the Rajasthan Cyber Crime Coordination Center to prevent cybercrimes.
_*All Five Pillars of the Criminal Justice System Connected Online*_
Amit Shah said that under the leadership of the successful Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi, three new laws, including the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, have been introduced, replacing the laws made by the British 150 years ago. These codes have been created to ensure the guarantee of protection of life, property, and honor provided by the Constitution. Giving importance to technology in the new laws, all five pillars of the criminal justice system—police, prosecution, prisons, FSL, and courts—have been connected online. Several new provisions have been introduced through these laws to protect the rights of citizens. A new chapter on women’s safety and child protection has also been added. Along with defining terrorism and organized crime, forensic science laboratory (FSL) investigations have been made mandatory in cases involving offenses punishable with seven years or more of imprisonment.
The Union Home Minister stated that once these laws are fully implemented, all FIRs registered will be resolved with justice delivered up to the Supreme Court within three years. He added that these laws have increased the conviction rate of the Rajasthan Police from 41 percent to 60 percent, and this rate is expected to reach 85 percent in the future.
