Major Action by Khoh Nagoriyan Police; ₹10,300 Cash and Playing Cards Seized

Jaipur. As part of a special campaign against illegal activities in the capital, Jaipur, the Khoh Nagoriyan police conducted a major raid on a gambling den and arrested three gamblers red-handed. Police recovered ₹10,300 in gambling stakes and playing cards from the scene. A case has been registered against the accused, and further investigation is underway.
This operation was carried out under the direction of Police Commissioner Sachin Mittal (IPS) and Deputy Commissioner of Police (Jaipur East) Ranjita Sharma (IPS), under the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Paras Jain (RPS) and the leadership of Assistant Commissioner of Police (Malviya Nagar) Vinod Sharma (RPS). A police team led by Station House Officer (SHO) Prakash Bishnoi raided a location in front of a house in the Sadbhavna Nagar area and arrested the three accused who were gambling.
Identification of Arrested Accused
The arrested individuals have been identified as Rahees Ahmed (42), Shakir Ahmed (50), and Wali Mohammad (69). Police seized ₹10,300 in cash and playing cards from their possession and registered FIR No. 436/2026. Action has been taken against the accused under Section 112(2) of the BNS and Section 13 of the RPGO.
According to the police, information was received on the night of July 31 that gambling involving monetary stakes was taking place in the Sadbhavna Nagar area. Upon receiving the tip-off, a special team immediately cordoned off the area and apprehended the three accused. Personnel from the Khoh Nagoriyan police station’s special team played a pivotal role in this successful operation.
