Jaipur: The Khoh Nagorian police solved the brutal murder of a woman in Bundu Vihar Colony within just 12 hours and arrested her son. During interrogation, the accused confessed that he killed his mother by smashing her head against a wall and attacking her with a knife after she refused to give him money for drugs.
Acting on the directives of Police Commissioner Sachin Mittal (IPS) and Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Ranjeeta Sharma (IPS), and under the supervision of Additional DCP Alok Singhal (RPS) and Assistant Commissioner of Police Vinod Sharma (RPS), a special team led by Khoh Nagorian Station House Officer (SHO) Prakash Vishnoi cracked the case and arrested the prime accused, Anil Bairwa (27), a resident of Jetpur (Gangapur City police station area, Sawai Madhopur district).
*Drug Addiction Led to Mother’s Death*
Police investigation revealed that the deceased, Panni Devi (55), was distressed by her son Anil’s drug addiction. On June 27, while her other sons and daughters-in-law were away for work, Anil asked his mother for money to buy drugs. When she refused, he flew into a rage; he smashed her head against a wall and then brutally murdered her by inflicting multiple knife wounds on her face. After the incident, the accused switched off his mobile phone and fled.
*Accused Nabbed Through Technical Investigation and Swift Action*
Upon receiving information about the incident, the police thoroughly inspected the crime scene. They gathered technical evidence alongside questioning neighbors and family members. After a continuous search, the police apprehended the absconding accused, who subsequently confessed to the crime during interrogation. *These police personnel played a pivotal role*
A team comprising Station House Officer Prakash Bishnoi, Sub-Inspector Mukesh Kumar, Head Constables Rajendra, Kamlesh, and Harisingh, along with Constables Dheeraj, Bajrang, and Sumnesh, played a crucial role in solving the murder case.
The police state that a case has been registered against the accused—including charges of murder and other relevant sections—and he has been produced before the court; further investigation is underway.
