Jaipur: A workshop dedicated to promoting natural farming is being organized by the Rajasthan unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kisan Morcha in Jaipur on June 12. The event will take place at the Sawai Mansingh (SMS) Stadium and will see the participation of a large number of farmers from various districts across the state. Kailash Choudhary, the State President of the BJP Kisan Morcha, shared details about the event during a press conference. He stated that the workshop would feature in-depth discussions on topics such as natural farming, cow-based agriculture, and methods to reduce farming costs. Farmers will be informed about the benefits of natural farming, the use of organic resources, and strategies to enhance soil fertility. Choudhary added that Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde, Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat, BJP State President Madan Rathore, and BJP Kisan Morcha National President Rajkumar Chahar would also address the farmers. Speaking on the subject of natural farming, Kailash Choudhary noted that, at present, the majority of farmers have become heavily dependent on chemical fertilizers like Urea and DAP. This is leading to increased farming costs while also adversely affecting soil fertility and the environment. He stated that the time has come for farmers to return to traditional and natural farming practices. He explained that the workshop would inform farmers about cow-based farming models and the benefits of using organic manure, *Jeevamrit*, *Ghan-Jeevamrit*, and natural resources. Additionally, farmers will be guided on how to engage in more sustainable and profitable farming at a lower cost. Chaudhary noted that the conference’s primary objective is to encourage farmers to adopt natural farming and to provide them with practical training. Agricultural experts and experienced farmers are also expected to share their insights during the event. Kailash Chaudhary remarked that natural farming could not only help increase farmers’ income but also contribute to improving soil quality, conserving water, and maintaining environmental balance. Special emphasis will be placed on providing farmers with information regarding new techniques and successful models associated with natural farming. OP Yadav and Revant Singh Rajpurohit, State General Secretaries of the Kisan Morcha, were also present on the occasion.
