Jaipur Police Commissioner Sachin Mittal Provides Relief to Complainants by Conducting a Public Hearing at Chitrakoot Police Station

Jaipur. On Saturday, Jaipur Police Commissioner Sachin Mittal conducted a public hearing at the Chitrakoot Police Station, where he listened to the grievances of complainants and issued on-the-spot directives to the concerned officials for their resolution.Present during this session were Additional Police Commissioner (Crime) Ajay Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Prashant Kiran, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Vaishali Nagar) Anil Kumar Sharma, along with the concerned Station House Officers (SHOs) and other station officials. Commissioner Sachin Mittal stated that during the public hearing, the issues faced by several complainants were resolved right on the spot. He added that public hearings are being conducted daily at the police station level to provide relief to the general public.
The Police Commissioner informed that during the public hearing, complaints were received regarding various issues prevalent in the area, including mutual disputes, family conflicts, land disputes, unauthorized occupation of properties, illegal encroachments, theft, and physical assault, among others. He issued instructions to investigate all complaints and resolve them within the shortest possible time frame—specifically, within a stipulated deadline. Furthermore, he directed the concerned officials to respond immediately to the complainants’ issues and ensure their prompt resolution.
During the public hearing, complainants hailing from the Vaishali Nagar Circle—specifically the Vaishali Nagar, Karni Vihar, and Chitrakoot police station areas—presented their grievances to the Police Commissioner and found resolutions to their problems.
A key highlight of this public hearing initiative is that the issues raised by complainants are resolved on the spot whenever possible. Additionally, directives are issued to ensure the speedy resolution of other issues that may require more time to address.
It is noteworthy that prior to this event, the Police Commissioner had already conducted public hearings at various locations—including the ACP Office in Jhotwara, the Community Hall in Sanganer, and the police stations in Shiprapath, Vidhyadhar Nagar, Bhankrota, Bassi, Shivdaspura, Chomu, Amer, and Ramganj—successfully resolving complainants’ issues on the spot at these venues as well.
