Progress of Banking Schemes Reviewed at Quarterly Meeting of District Level Bankers’ Committee

A quarterly meeting of the District Level Bankers’ Committee was organized on Friday at the Collectorate Auditorium in Jaipur. The meeting was held under the guidance of the Office of the Lead District Manager, Jaipur, commencing at 3:00 PM. The meeting was presided over by Additional District Magistrate (IV), Ashish Kumar.
Representatives from various departments and banks attended the meeting, including Lead District Manager (Jaipur) Rajesh R. Jain, LDO from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Chetna Goyal, DDM from NABARD Arvind Chahar, Prachur Gupta from the State Bank of India, Manish from the Municipal Corporation, and officials from the Social Justice and Empowerment Department.
During the meeting, Lead District Manager Rajesh Kumar Jain and other officials reviewed the progress of various schemes—in accordance with the agenda—alongside all district bank coordinators and relevant officials of the Jaipur district. The review focused on the progress of schemes such as the PM Street Vendors’ Atmanirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi), PM Vishwakarma Scheme, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Dalit-Adivasi Entrepreneurship Promotion Scheme, PM Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PM FME) Scheme, and the Self-Help Group (SHG) Bank Linkage Program.
Additionally, directives were issued to ensure the achievement of targets for social security insurance schemes, including the PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, PM Suraksha Bima Yojana, and the Atal Pension Yojana.
RBI LDO Chetna Goyal emphasized the effective implementation of financial inclusion programs, the organization of financial literacy camps, and the appointment of Business Correspondent (BC) agents. Meanwhile, NABARD DDM Arvind Chahar discussed measures to boost the agricultural sector and ensure the maximum availability of credit to farmers.
The meeting also included a review of the status of loan applications forwarded by RSETI (Rural Self-Employment Training Institute), the PM-Anusuchit Jati Abhyuday Yojana, and various schemes related to agriculture and entrepreneurship. All bankers presented progress reports regarding their respective banking schemes. On this occasion, Nathulal Jat (CFL Sanganer), Sanjeev Kumar Meena (Govindgarh), and Narendra Kumar Chaudhary (TSP Sanganer)—Financial Counselors from the Aaroh Foundation, Jaipur—were present, alongside District Managers and Assistant Managers from various banks, as well as officials from the Department of Agricultural Marketing.
