Sikar MP Comrade Amra Ram to Arrive in Kuchaman Today with Statewide Jatha
The State view Kuchaman City (Sonu Pareek) Sikar MP Comrade Amra Ram will reach the Agricultural Produce Market Yard in Kuchaman City today at 1:00 PM, leading a statewide jatha. Several prominent farmer leaders from across the country and the state will accompany him.
The public meeting will be addressed by Comrade Amra Ram, CPI(M) State Secretary Kisan Pareek, All India Kisan Sabha State President Pema Ram, former Bhadra MLA Balwan Poonia, former Dungargarh MLA Girdhari Ram Mahia, youth farmer leader Mangej Chaudhary, Nirmal Prajapat, Bhagirath Yadav, Bhagirath Netad, and others.
It is worth noting that the Communist Party of India (Marxist), the All India Kisan Sabha, and various labour organisations are mobilising for a major protest at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi on 24 March.
Key Demands of the Movement
The protest is being organised around the following major demands:
Withdrawal of the four labour codes described as anti-worker
Cancellation of the proposed Electricity Bill 2025 and a halt to smart meters
Withdrawal of the Seed Bill 2025 termed anti-farmer
Repeal of the Peace Bill 2025
Ensuring access to safe drinking water across Rajasthan
Action against illegal liquor, narcotics, and chemical drugs
Housing for all homeless families and free land titles in slum areas
Restoration of MGNREGA and extension of an urban employment guarantee scheme
200 days of work per year with ₹600 daily wages under employment guarantee law
Strengthening public healthcare, education, roads, and local transport
Implementing the Land Acquisition Act 2013 provisions wherever land is acquired
Scrapping free trade agreements with the USA, European Union, and others termed anti-people
Ensuring canal water supply and stopping attacks on Dalits, minorities, and women
Improving law and order and sewer infrastructure, especially in Dalit, tribal, and minority areas,The jatha and public meeting in Kuchaman are part of the statewide mobilisation ahead of the Delhi protest.
