JDA launches ‘Samvad’ stakeholder consultation program

The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) launched the ‘Samvad’ stakeholder consultation program with the aim of promoting participatory and transparent urban development. Under this initiative, the JDA will establish regular dialogue with various stakeholders and ensure resolution of their suggestions and problems.
The first session of the program was held on Thursday in the ‘Manthan’ auditorium. On this occasion, JDA Commissioner Siddharth Mahajan listened carefully to the problems, suggestions, and feedback of the stakeholders present and provided necessary guidance to the concerned officials.
Commissioner Siddharth Mahajan said that the JDA is committed to providing better services to the public and ensuring public participation in development works. Based on the suggestions received through the “Samvad” program, procedures will be made more simple, transparent, and effective.
He directed officials to ensure prompt and quality action on complaints and suggestions received, providing relief to citizens. Stakeholders from various sectors participated in the program and shared their suggestions.
Faces brightened with prompt resolutions*
Public attendees also shared their problems with the Commissioner regarding leases, reservation letters, leases, etc., which Mr. Mahajan listened to one by one and directed the concerned Deputy Commissioner to resolve them in a timely manner. The immediate resolution of their problems brought smiles to the faces of those attending the program and they expressed satisfaction with this public-friendly initiative of the JDA.
Such sessions of the “Samvad” program will be organized by the JDA every month to further strengthen public participation in urban development works.
JDA Secretary Nishant Jain, Additional Commissioner Bhagchand Badhal, Deputy Commissioners of all zones, and other officials were present at the program.
