Bikaner Range Police Action: 3 Interstate Drug Smugglers Arrested with 110 Kg of Poppy Husk, Luxury Scorpio Seized

The special campaign launched against illegal drugs and organized crime in the Bikaner Range achieved a major success today when the Range Special Team and Rajiyasar Police arrested three notorious smugglers from Punjab in a joint operation. Police recovered a large quantity of illegal poppy husk and a Scorpio vehicle used for smuggling.
On the strict instructions of Bikaner Range Inspector General of Police Hemant Sharma, a zero-tolerance policy is being adopted against drug smugglers in the Range. This entire operation was carried out under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police, Crime and Vigilance, Pawan Kumar Bhadoria, and Range Special Team in-charge, Sandeep Poonia.
On Sunday, February 15th, a police team had set up a special blockade in the Rajiyasar police station area. Acting on a tip-off, a Scorpio with Haryana registration number was stopped and searched. 1 quintal 10 kilograms of illegal poppy husk was found hidden inside the vehicle. Police immediately took action, seizing the vehicle and detaining three accused at the scene.
The smugglers have links to Sardulgarh in Punjab.
The three arrested accused are residents of Mansa district in Punjab. They have been identified as Semal Singh (20), Jaswant Singh (35), and Lovepreet Singh (33). These three accused, residents of the Sardulgarh area, have long been involved in the illegal drug trade from Rajasthan to Punjab.
Rajiasar Police Station Officer Kalawati Chaudhary and her team, along with Constable Babulal of the Range Office, played a significant role in this successful operation. Other team members included ASI Vimlesh Kumar, Constable Manoj, Atmaram Kuldiya, and Dharampal.
Police are now conducting extensive interrogations of the arrested smugglers. The main focus of the investigation is to determine where this large consignment of drugs was sourced from and to whom it was intended to be supplied in Punjab. Soon, the entire smuggling network and the main mastermind will be exposed and put behind bars.
