Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani unveiled the plaque, marking the renaming of the Christianganj Police Station and Outpost in Ajmer as Krishnaganj on Tuesday.
The State View Ajmer/Jaipur(Sunil sharma) The plaque was installed following the Home Department’s notification of the name change, thanks to the efforts of Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani. This step is considered another important step towards reconnecting the region’s historical identity with Sanatan culture and liberating it from symbols of a slave mentality.Vasudev Devnani stated that it is our responsibility to re-establish the glorious names associated with the city’s history and culture. This will inspire future generations to connect with their traditions and values. He stated that this campaign will continue unabated.He said that the name Krishna symbolizes Indian Sanatan culture, ethics, love, karma yoga, and the soul of the nation. This name will give the area a new identity and pride. Previously, Foy Sagar was renamed Varun Sagar, King Edward Memorial was renamed Maharishi Dayanand Vishrant Grih, Hotel Khadim was renamed Hotel Ajaymeru, and the elevated road was renamed Ram Setu.He urged the district police to work towards the motto of instilling trust among the public and fear among criminals. He said that three reservoirs for drinking water, a super-specialty block at Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital to strengthen health services, a gas-based GSS, a leopard safari park, an IT park, a science park, a multipurpose stadium, a convention center, the Gandhi Bhawan multi-story library, a city forest, and numerous educational institutions will propel Ajmer forward on the path of development.The Krishnaganj police station area provides security to approximately 150,000 people, and this area is considered extremely important from a law and order perspective.
