Rohit Godara gang’s active member arrested in Churu with an illegal firearm
Pradeep Chhimpa alias PC, accused in the Hotel Suncity firing, caught in a police roadblock

Under the special campaign launched to effectively control drug trafficking and illegal weapons, on the instructions of Bikaner Range Inspector General Hemant Sharma, the Churu district police have achieved this significant success. A team from Sardarshahar police station arrested Pradeep Chhimpa alias PC (21), a resident of Gajusar and an active member of the Rohit Godara and Mahendra Delana gang, during a police roadblock.
Superintendent of Police Jai Yadav had given instructions for increased action in the district. Following these instructions, police teams were activated under the direction of Additional Superintendent of Police Sunil Kumar and Circle Officer Sardarshahar Kuldeep Walia. On Sunday, a police team under the supervision of Sardarshahar Station House Officer Madan Lal Bishnoi and led by ASI Pradeep Kumar was conducting a roadblock near Bukalsar Fanta.
During this time, a young man tried to flee and hide upon seeing the police, but he was immediately apprehended. During questioning, he identified himself as Pradeep Chhimpa alias PC, a resident of Gajusar. During a search, an illegal country-made pistol was recovered from his possession, which was seized, and the accused was immediately arrested.
SP Jai Yadav said that the arrested accused, Pradeep Chhimpa, identifies himself as an active member of the Rohit Godara and Mahendra Delana gang. He has been involved in organized criminal activities as a member of this gang. The accused was planning to carry out a major criminal act with his associates.

Pradeep Chhimpa has a previous criminal history. He was previously an accused in the firing incident at Hotel Suncity in the area of Kotwali police station, Churu. This firing was also carried out on the instructions of gangsters Rohit Godara and Mahendra Delana. Several serious criminal cases have been registered against the accused in the past.
