Recommendation to Seize Two Tractors, an Under-Construction House, and a Bank Account Acquired Through Illegal Proceeds

Jaipur: Acting on the directives of Rajasthan Director General of Police (DGP) Rajiv Kumar Sharma, the Baran District Police have adopted a stern stance against criminals who have amassed vast amounts of illicit wealth through illegal trades and organized crime. Baran Superintendent of Police (SP) Abhishek Andasu stated that the process to attach all movable and immovable assets—acquired through illegal mining and criminal activities—belonging to the district’s active and cunning criminal, Rajendra Vaishnav (alias Raju), has been initiated.
This major operation was executed under the supervision of Additional SP Dr. Kamal Jangid and the leadership of Anta Circle Officer (CO) Pushpendra Singh Aadha. Mangrol Station House Officer (SHO) Vinod Kumar Meena and his special team played a pivotal role in identifying the assets and preparing the report seeking approval for their attachment.
*Assets Amassed from the Proceeds of Crime
According to the report prepared by the Mangrol police, the accused, Rajendra Vaishnav alias Raju (40)—a resident of Mundiya (under Mangrol police station limits)—had long been involved in illegal mining, theft, and extortion rackets. He utilized these illicit earnings to acquire various movable and immovable assets, for which an attachment recommendation has now been submitted. These assets include two tractors used for illegal mining and transportation, a palatial house under construction in Mundiya village (funded by illegally acquired money), and the accused’s bank account used for criminal financial transactions. Rajendra Vaishnav is a highly cunning individual with a criminal mindset; he operated a network of illegal mining and extortion by terrorizing the local area. He faces six serious criminal cases registered not only at the Mangrol police station in Baran but also at other police stations across the Kota division.
