In a grand ceremony held at the Mugdha Convention Hall, Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre (JECC), Sitapura, the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma formally inaugurated India Stonemart 2026. With this, the four-day international stone industry event, scheduled from February 5 to 8, officially commenced.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by *Hon’ble Industry Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Hon’ble Education Minister Shri Madan Dilawar, Rajasthan Chief Secretary Shri V. Srinivas, Additional Chief Secretary (Industries) Shri Shikhar Agrawal, Principal Secretary (Mines) Shri T. Ravikant, RIICO Executive Director Dr. Akash Tomar, Organisation Minister of Laghu Udyog Bharati Shri Prakash Chandra, Chairman of R.K. Marble Shri Ashok Patni, renowned sculptor Shri Arun Yogiraj, Convener of India Stonemart 2026 Shri Natwarlal Ajmera, Vice President of CEDOS Shri Deepak Ajmera*, along with several distinguished guests from India and abroad.

Addressing the gathering after the inauguration, *Chief Minister, Shri Bhajanlal Sharma* said that India Stonemart is not merely a business event, but a shared platform representing Indian culture, craftsmanship, and industrial strength. He welcomed Industry Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Organisation Minister Shri Prakash Chand, office-bearers of Laghu Udyog Bharati, representatives of the industry, traders, and workers.

The Chief Minister stated that today the world views India as a major investment destination and market, and natural resources such as marble and sandstone are emerging sectors for investment. He noted that Rajasthan has 85 types of minerals, and almost every district has its own unique stone identity.

He highlighted that Rajasthan stone has been used in iconic buildings such as Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House, and the Supreme Court. One of the biggest strengths of Rajasthan stone, he said, is that once constructed properly, it requires minimal maintenance.

Sharing the vision of One District–One Product and One District–One Stone, the Chief Minister spoke about providing special encouragement to MSMEs and small and medium industries. He emphasized that respect for workers, fair wages, safety, and skill enhancement programs are among the government’s top priorities.

He called upon industry stakeholders to move forward as a team, adopt modern technology, and take Rajasthan stone to global markets, assuring them that the government stands shoulder to shoulder with them.

Following this, *Hon’ble Industry Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore* welcomed and thanked all guests from India and abroad. He expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, leaders of the stone industry, media representatives, and all partners associated with the event.

He said that Rajasthan is a state where there is no need to write history—here, the stones speak for themselves. Started in 2007, India Stonemart has now reached its 13th edition and has evolved into a global platform.

He informed that this year, 66 international companies from Iran, Italy, Turkey, and China are participating in Stonemart, reflecting its global stature. He reaffirmed that the Rajasthan government is fully committed to promoting the stone industry and that in the government, files move fast—not entrepreneurs.

As part of India Stonemart 2026, the Shilpgram organised by the Rural Non-Farm Development Agency (RUDA) emerged as a major attraction. Artisans and craftsmen from various districts of Rajasthan showcased their traditional art, handicrafts, and construction techniques in a vibrant manner.

The Chief Minister and other dignitaries visited Shilpgram, appreciated the initiative, and described it as an important step toward rural non-farm livelihoods, self-employment, and skill development.

India Stonemart 2026 is hosting B2B meetings, industry dialogues, export and investment discussions, and networking sessions. Buyers, architects, infrastructure developers, and stone industry experts from India and abroad showed keen interest in the exhibition.

The event is being held over the largest area so far, featuring stalls related to stone, machinery, new technology, design, and value addition.

The first day of India Stonemart 2026 was extremely successful and enthusiastic, witnessing a large number of visitors. In the coming days, several B2B meetings, technical sessions, industry interactions, and export-focused programs will be organized.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Convener of India Stonemart 2026, Shri Natwarlal Ajmera, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister, ministers, guests, participants, media, and all associates involved in the successful organization of the event.
