Deliberations to Focus on Candidate Selection, Manifesto, and Campaign; AICC Secretary Poonam Paswan to be Chief Guest

Jaipur. The Congress party has intensified its preparations for the upcoming Jaipur Municipal Corporation elections. To finalize the electoral strategy and mobilize the organization down to the booth level, the Jaipur City District Congress Committee has organized a ‘Karyakarta Samvad’ (party worker interaction) program. This event will take place on Monday, August 3, at 11:00 AM at the State Congress Committee office. Detailed discussions will be held on key topics, including the candidate selection process, the election manifesto, the campaign strategy, and organizational planning.
Sunil Sharma, President of the Jaipur City District Congress Committee, stated that the objective of this interaction is to strengthen coordination between the organization and its workers and to devise an effective strategy for the upcoming municipal elections. Suggestions from party workers will also be sought to make the election campaign robust and aligned with public interests.
Poonam Paswan, Secretary of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) and in-charge for Jaipur, will attend the event as the chief guest. Sunil Sharma will preside over the meeting.
Senior party leaders, including Congress Chief Whip in the Assembly Rafiq Khan, former Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas, MLA Amin Kagzi, former MLAs Ganga Devi and Dr. Archana Sharma, as well as R.R. Tiwari, Pushpendra Bhardwaj, Abhishek Chaudhary, along with current and former councilors and a large number of party workers, will be present on this occasion.
The meeting will feature detailed discussions on the selection process for prospective candidates, the inclusion of local issues in the election agenda, the drafting of the manifesto, and the framework for the election campaign. Deliberations will also focus on activating the organization at the ward level and assigning specific responsibilities to party workers.
Congress leaders believe that organizational unity and the active participation of party workers will play a crucial role in the party’s success in the municipal elections. Consequently, this interaction program is considered vital for the upcoming electoral preparations.
