Case Cracked After Scrutinizing 200 CCTV Feeds and Questioning 150 Suspects

Jaipur: The Jaipur South Police have solved the sensational case of the brutal murder of an 11-year-old minor in the Muhana police station area within just 48 hours. Police detained three minor accused after unraveling the mystery through technical evidence, the analysis of over 200 CCTV footage clips, and the interrogation of approximately 150 suspects. The knife used in the crime has also been recovered.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Rajarshi Raj (IPS) stated that the area was gripped by shock on June 25 after the minor’s body was found in a drain near a water tank in village Kaishyawala, with the severed head discovered nearby. Given the gravity of the matter, special teams were immediately constituted.
The investigation was conducted under the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Lalit Kumar Sharma (RPS) and Assistant Commissioner of Police Hemendra Sharma (RPS). A team led by Mansarovar Station House Officer (SHO) Laxman Khatana (RPS), Muhana SHO Gurubhupendra Singh, DST In-charge Vishambhar Dayal, and Cyber Cell Head Constable Lokesh Kumar worked continuously to crack this ‘blind murder’ case.
Police examined footage from around 200 CCTV cameras installed near the crime scene, gathered technical evidence, and activated their informant network. The three minor accused were detained based on information provided by Constable Rajveer (10220) of the District Special Team (DST). Following the revelation of the murder details during interrogation, the police also recovered the knife used in the crime.
