Training Provided on Safety Measures for Heart Attacks, Earthquakes, Floods, and Gas Cylinder Accidents; Exhibition of Rescue Equipment Becomes a Major Highlight

Jaipur. On Sunday, the Rajasthan State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) organized a special disaster rescue and relief awareness program for newly appointed Rajasthan State Service officer trainees at the Harishchandra Mathur Rajasthan State Institute of Public Administration (HCM RIPA), Jaipur. During the program, the officers were provided with practical knowledge regarding protection against various disasters, relief operations, and basic rescue techniques.
SDRF Commandant Rajendra Singh Sisodia stated that the objective of the program was to train and sensitize administrative officers regarding rapid response, relief management, and assisting the general public during disaster situations. The program commenced with a PowerPoint presentation delivered by Commandant Sisodia, which provided detailed information on the SDRF’s operational methodology, organizational structure, deployment protocols, and its pivotal role in disaster management. Following this, personnel from the SDRF rescue team presented a rope rescue demonstration within the HCM RIPA campus. Through this live demonstration, the trainees were shown how to safely conduct rescue operations during emergency situations such as floods, earthquakes, road accidents, and falls from heights. The program also covered initial rescue measures applicable to sudden incidents and emergencies, including heart attacks, gas cylinder fires, road accidents, floods, and earthquakes. The trainees were instructed on how ordinary citizens can assist an injured person before the arrival of a professional rescue team, and what precautions must be observed to save lives. Additionally, a special exhibition showcasing the SDRF’s modern rescue equipment was organized during the event, displaying state-of-the-art tools utilized during various types of disasters.
The officials and trainees closely observed the functioning of the equipment and gathered technical insights from the SDRF personnel. At the conclusion of the program, the trainees commended the SDRF’s operational methods and the live demonstrations, describing the session as highly useful and practical training.
