On Monday, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari listened to the grievances of people who had traveled from far-flung areas to attend a public hearing (*Jan Sunwai*) held at her official residence in Civil Lines. A large number of people gathered at the venue to meet the Deputy Chief Minister directly and apprised her of their various issues.During the session, citizens presented a range of public issues before the Deputy Chief Minister, including concerns regarding electricity, water supply, roads, and encroachments. Diya Kumari listened to the grievances of all petitioners with earnestness and directed the officials present on the spot to ensure their immediate resolution.
Issuing clear directives to the officials, the Deputy Chief Minister emphasized that the issues raised by people attending the public hearing must be treated with seriousness and accorded priority, ensuring that no form of negligence or laxity is permitted in their resolution.
