State Finance Commission Chairman and former BJP State President Arun Chaturvedi said that the Rajasthan Budget 2026-27 presented in the Assembly is an inclusive and visionary budget inspired by the spirit of “Sarvajan Hitaya, Sarvajan Sukhaya” under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. This budget will rapidly advance the state towards a developed Rajasthan 2047, in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolve for a developed India and “Citizen First.”
Arun Chaturvedi also said that the budget has been prepared with all sections of society at the center: the poor, the youth, the farmers, women, laborers, and the last-mile worker. The core spirit of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas” is clearly reflected in this budget. He stated that strengthening infrastructure, expanding industries, empowering agriculture and animal husbandry, and encouraging investment will create widespread employment in the state. The goal of reaching a $350 billion economy by 2028-29 reflects the government’s strong economic vision.
The Finance Commission Chairman stated that in agriculturally dominant Rajasthan, farmers and rural development have been given special priority, leading to concrete initiatives towards self-reliance. Provisions for new recruitment, skill development, and startup promotion for youth, women’s empowerment, and strengthening the education sector reinforce the government’s commitment. He stated that the Green Budget places special emphasis on renewable energy—solar, wind, and hydropower—and marks a significant step towards establishing Rajasthan as a green energy hub.
Chaturvedi expressed confidence that this budget will prove to be a milestone in ensuring the prosperity of the people of the state and in realizing the resolve of a self-reliant and developed Rajasthan.
