In the all-party meeting held on Tuesday before the commencement of the budget session in Parliament, National Democratic Party National President and Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal also participated. He raised various parliamentary issues in the meeting, including how to ensure the smooth functioning of the House, comprehensive discussions on issues concerning the public, timely responses under Rule 377, and immediate statements from ministers in the House on issues raised during Zero Hour. The MP demanded a special discussion in the House on the shortage of fertilizers in several states, including Rajasthan, and the irregularities in the procurement system at Minimum Support Price (MSP) in Rajasthan, as well as on unemployment and inflation. He also demanded that the government clarify its stance on the conservation of the Aravalli mountain range in the House. He further demanded a review of the MSP procurement system and legal guarantee for MSP, a review of the claims of doubling farmers’ income, addressing the shortcomings of the crop insurance scheme and delays in compensation, accountability in matters related to social harmony and law and order, and separate special discussions in the House on issues related to women, Dalits, tribals, and minorities, as well as on education, health, and foreign policy.
