The impact of the high-level meeting held on December 24th by Minister of State for Home Affairs, Cow Rearing, Animal Husbandry, Dairy and Fisheries Department, Jawahar Singh Bedham, to find a permanent solution to the long-standing drinking water problem in the region, is now becoming visible on the ground. In compliance with Minister Jawahar Singh Bedham’s instructions, the Public Health Engineering Department has released a detailed program for the ‘Rural Water Forum’. This campaign will start from December 29th (Monday) and reach every village, providing significant relief to villagers facing water scarcity.
*Minister’s Initiative: “One Complaint, Many Solutions”*
Under this action plan prepared under the guidance of Minister of State for Home Affairs Bedham, villagers will no longer have to travel to the district headquarters or offices to address their water problems. As per the order issued by the department, a ‘Jal Chaupal’ will be organized at the Atal Seva Kendras of each Gram Panchayat in Brijnagar tehsil.
The objective of this initiative is to provide on-the-spot technical and administrative solutions to problems related to leakage, low pressure, brackish water, and pipelines. *Marathon Campaign to Begin on December 29*
According to the roster released by the department, water awareness camps will begin on December 29 in Deeg and Brijnagar, starting in the Gram Panchayats of Didawali and Rasiya in Brijnagar. This campaign, which begins on December 29, will continue uninterrupted until January 14, 2026, with the mandatory presence of government officials as well as representatives from private firms.

Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bedham, had given clear instructions that villagers should not have to visit offices to register their complaints. In line with this, the department has scheduled a tehsil-wise and village-wise program. These camps will be held at the Atal Seva Kendras of the respective Gram Panchayats from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM (in different shifts).
1. *Deeg Tehsil:* Camps will be held here from December 29 to January 12
In Deeg tehsil, hearings will be held in the following villages on the given dates in the presence of Assistant Engineer Ravindra Singh and firm representative Suraj Singh:
