Finance Department Officials Hold Meeting with State Industry Organizations at the Secretariat to Seek Suggestions Regarding the Upcoming Union Budget

The State View Jaipur Sunil Sharma                     A meeting was held on Tuesday at the State Secretariat, chaired by Principal Secretary of the Finance Department, Vaibhav Galaria, to invite suggestions from the industry sector for the upcoming Union Budget 2026-27. Representatives from various industrial sectors, including mines, textiles, handicrafts, jewelry, real estate, and MSMEs, participated in the meeting and presented several important suggestions for inclusion in the upcoming Union Budget.Industry representatives offered suggestions related to tourism development, availability of credit for MSMEs, provision of competitive and appropriate interest rates from a business perspective, further simplification of the tax system, new initiatives to encourage women entrepreneurs, promotion of research and innovation activities, development of new industrial areas, integration and simplification of various government portals, and strengthening of ‘Ease of Doing Business’.Vaibhav Galaria informed the industry representatives that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, several important innovations have been made in Rajasthan for the promotion of industries. The state government is continuously providing financial and infrastructural support to make industries economically strong and competitive. Vaibhav Galaria assured that all suggestions received from the industry sector will be analyzed in detail and sent to the central government so that issues related to the state’s industrial sector can be adequately addressed in the upcoming Union Budget.The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary, Finance (Revenue) Kumar Pal Gautam, Commissioner of Industries and Commerce Department Suresh Kumar Ola, and representatives from the Confederation of Indian Industry, FICCI, Rajasthan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Marble Mines Association, Garment Export Association, Real Estate Developers Association, Township and Owners Development Association, along with other industry representatives and officials.
