Jaipur Voters, Along With the State Election Commissioner and District Election Officer, Strengthened the Democratic Tradition
Turnout in the Second Phase of Municipal Corporation Elections 2026 Was 63.55%

Jaipur. Voting concluded peacefully and successfully on Friday in the 150 wards of the Jaipur Municipal Corporation in the second phase of the 2026 Urban Local Bodies General Elections. Deputy Chief Minister Mrs. Diya Kumari, Industry, Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Hawamahal MLA Mr. Balmukundacharya, along with other dignitaries, youth, senior citizens, and voters with disabilities, strengthened India’s democracy by casting their votes in this grand festival of democracy.
State Election Commissioner Rajeshwar Singh cast his vote at the polling station located at Khandelwal Vaish Girls Institute of Technology, Vaishali Nagar. After casting his vote, he took a photo showing the indelible ink mark at the selfie point and also wrote his message on the review wall. He expressed his gratitude to all voters who participated in electing the city government.
District Election Officer and District Collector Sandesh Nayak first cast his vote in the morning at the polling station located in Room No. 1, near Rishikul Vijay School, Kardhani Shopping Center. After this, he continuously reviewed the voting process, security arrangements, voter convenience, and election-related arrangements at the city’s polling stations.
The District Election Officer expressed his gratitude to all voters, staff, officials, and security personnel who contributed to the peaceful, fair, and successful conduct of the voting process. He reported that in the second phase of the 2026 Urban Local Bodies General Elections, the voter turnout for Jaipur Municipal Corporation was 16.20 percent by 10 am, 37.36 percent by 1 pm, 48.89 percent by 3 pm, and 62.74 percent by 6 pm.
The final total was 63.55 percent. According to the ward wise data available, 63.32 percent voting was recorded in wards 1 to 22, 64.39 percent in wards 23 to 37, 57.85 percent in wards 38 to 58, 61.87 percent in wards 59 to 72, 57.86 percent in wards 73 to 87, 57.28 percent in wards 88 to 103, 67.44 percent in wards 104 to 115, 72.20 percent in wards 116 to 132, 68.85 percent in wards 133 to 147 and 81.45 percent in wards 148 to 150.
