Directs Conservation of Land and Expansion of Administrative Buildings

With the objective of strengthening infrastructure, expanding medical facilities, and ensuring the proper management of government assets within the district, District Collector Mayank Manish conducted an inspection of various under-construction and proposed sites across the city on Tuesday. During this visit, he physically inspected the ongoing construction site of the District Hospital located on Sahrai Road, a 56-bigha parcel of government land situated in Shahpur, and the land designated for the Mini Secretariat complex, issuing necessary directives to the concerned officials.
*Conservation of Government Land and Allocation to Departments*
With a view toward the secure conservation and future optimal utilization of government land, the District Collector visited the 56-bigha site located in Shahpur. He directed the Municipal Council to erect fencing around the perimeter of this plot to ensure its security. Furthermore, he instructed the Tehsildar of Deeg to prepare proposals for allocating portions of this land to various government departments as per their specific requirements.
*Mini Secretariat Complex: Taking Cognizance of Encroachments*
Subsequently, the District Collector inspected the *Siwaychak* (unallocated government) land situated near the Mini Secretariat. Taking cognizance of potential encroachments within this precinct, he sought a detailed and factual report regarding such encroachments from the concerned revenue officials. He explicitly directed that this government land be cleared of encroachments in strict accordance with established regulations and be securely preserved, thereby ensuring its unhindered availability for the future expansion of administrative public amenities and other government purposes.
*Review of Construction Works at the District Hospital*
To assess the progress of this district-level public health project, the District Collector inspected the under-construction District Hospital complex located on Sahrai Road. He observed the quality and pace of the various construction activities currently underway at the site. He emphasized that the construction work must be completed within the stipulated timeframe while strictly maintaining the highest standards of quality, so that the general public may begin to avail themselves of the hospital’s services as expeditiously as possible. During this event, Sub-Divisional Officer of Deeg Mukesh Chaudhary, Municipal Council Commissioner Kuldeep Singh, and Tehsildar Jugita Meena were present, along with officials from the Revenue and other concerned departments.
