Cleanup Drive Conducted from Gulab Circle to the Bus Stand

Balotra: On Sunday—the second day of the special cleanliness drive being conducted across the district in preparation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to Balotra on July 4 and the inauguration of the Rajasthan Refinery—Minister-in-Charge Joraram Kumawat and Secretary-in-Charge Harjilal Atal personally participated in voluntary labor (*shramdaan*) to spread the message of cleanliness. Elected representatives, administrative officials, refinery management, and local citizens enthusiastically joined the campaign, reaffirming their commitment to a clean and beautiful Balotra.
During the cleanup event held in the Gulab Circle area of Pachpadra, Minister-in-Charge Joraram Kumawat, Secretary-in-Charge Harjilal Atal, District Collector Sushil Kumar Yadav, Pachpadra MLA Dr. Arun Chaudhary, Rajasthan Refinery CEO Kamlakar, BJP District President Bharat Modi, BJP District Vice-Presidents Khetaram Prajapat and Govind Singh Kaludi, Pachpadra Sarpanch Pooja Kharwal, Mandapura Sarpanch Daluram Prajapat, and other administrative officials personally swept the area. While conducting the drive from Gulab Circle to the bus stand, they appealed to the public to keep their homes, business establishments, and surrounding areas clean. During the campaign, the administration also took action to remove encroachments obstructing the roadway to ensure smoother traffic flow. Additionally, the statue of Seth Gulab Chand Salecha at Gulab Circle was cleaned with water. On this occasion, officials urged citizens to maintain cleanliness in public spaces and to transform the sanitation drive into a mass movement.
Minister-in-Charge Joraram Kumawat stated that on July 4, the nation’s esteemed Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, would dedicate the Rajasthan Refinery to the nation. He noted that this project would prove to be a milestone for the industrial and economic development of not just Balotra, but the entire state of Rajasthan. The refinery’s operations will boost new investment, accelerate industrial activities, and create extensive employment opportunities for local youth.
He stated that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has transformed cleanliness into a nationwide mass movement. A clean India plays a vital role in building a developed India; therefore, every citizen should make cleanliness a daily habit rather than treating it merely as a campaign. If every individual takes responsibility for keeping their home, street, and public places clean, the entire nation can become clean and healthy.
