Jaipur. On Monday, at the Chief Minister’s Residence, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma listened with sensitivity to the grievances of women, persons with special abilities, senior citizens, and people from various sections of society who had arrived from across the state for the public hearing. In numerous cases, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma provided relief to the complainants by issuing necessary directives to officials and resolving the grievances on the spot.
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma stated that the public hearing serves as an effective medium for fostering trust and dialogue between the general public and the administration. Working in accordance with high standards of good governance, our government remains committed to ensuring that the benefits of various schemes reach the very last person in the queue. He directed officials to periodically monitor the resolution of all cases brought up during the public hearings. Officials were instructed to ensure a transparent and effective system so that complainants are not compelled to make unnecessary rounds of government offices. Furthermore, he directed that strict action be initiated against any employees found to be negligent in the resolution of public grievances.
During the public hearing, the Chief Minister listened to the people’s problems and also engaged in personal interactions with the complainants. He resolved on the spot the issues faced by a large number of people present at the hearing—including women, persons with disabilities, and the elderly. The general public appeared highly satisfied with the immediate resolution of their grievances. During this session, the Chief Minister listened to grievances raised by the general public concerning various departments—including Social Justice and Empowerment, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Labor, Agriculture, Home, Revenue, the Jaipur Development Authority, the Municipal Corporation, Education, Medical Services, and Drinking Water—and issued directives for their resolution.
*Tarachand Receives Electric Tricycle; Vishal Benefits from Scholarship*
During the public hearing, Tarachand Mali—a specially-abled individual hailing from Nagaur—expressed his distress to the Chief Minister regarding his inability to obtain a scooter or an electric tricycle. Responding with sensitivity, the Chief Minister directed officials to promptly provide him with both a scooter and an electric tricycle. Similarly, Vishal Kumar Meena from Karauli informed the Chief Minister that he was unable to access the benefits of the Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme, which was creating difficulties for him in continuing his higher education. The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure that he receives the Post-Matric Scholarship without delay and wished him a bright future. Overjoyed by the swift resolution of their issues, both Tarachand and Vishal expressed their deep gratitude to the Chief Minister.
During the event, the Chief Minister also unveiled posters presented by various public representatives. A large number of concerned public representatives and citizens were present at the public hearing.
