The State View, Jaipur, (Sunil Sharma) As part of the state government’s youth empowerment and employment-oriented initiatives, the district-level employment festival and youth conference was organized at the Bhagwat Singh Mehta Auditorium of HCM RIPA. Divisional Commissioner Jaipur Poonam was the chief guest, and District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni presided over the event.
At the district-level event, 400 youth from Jaipur district were given welcome kits. On this occasion, 20 newly appointed personnel were honored with certificates.
The inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremony of various development works held at Kayad Rest House, Ajmer, were also broadcast live during the event. At the event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented the people of the state with the foundation stone laying and inauguration of 43 major development works and projects worth ₹16,686 crore.
Of these, 34 projects worth approximately ₹8,554 crore are related to various state government departments, while 9 major projects worth approximately ₹8,132 crore are linked to the central government’s National Highways and Energy Department. Important departments such as Public Health Engineering, Energy, Water Resources, Industry, Public Works, Urban Development and Housing, and National Highways are involved in these projects.
The Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for national highway projects worth over ₹4,516 crore. Appointment letters were also distributed to 21,863 youth selected for various state government departments, creating new employment opportunities in the state.
Addressing the district level programme, Divisional Commissioner Poonam said that kits have been distributed to around 2 thousand newly selected personnel in the programmes being organised in the districts of Jaipur division. She said that getting employment is an important milestone in any person’s life. It is not only a means of livelihood, but also an opportunity to actively contribute to the development of society and nation. She called upon the newly appointed personnel to play the role of pioneers in providing transparent, sensitive and accountable good governance to the common people as per the intention of the state government.
Additional District Collector (North) Jaipur Mukesh Kumar Mund, Chief Medical and Health Officer First Dr. Ravi Shekhawat along with other officials and a large number of newly appointed young personnel were present in the function.
