Information on government welfare schemes provided during training programs
*The State View Jaipur Sunil Sharma* The Women’s Empowerment Department is organizing one-day orientation workshops for Saathins under the Saksham Jaipur Abhiyan. The objective of these workshops is to make Saathins working at the grassroots level more effective by providing them with up-to-date and practical information on departmental schemes, rules, and regulations.
Dr. Rajesh Dogiwal, Deputy Director of the Women’s Empowerment Department, stated that in compliance with the instructions of District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni, a workshop was held on February 12th at the Panchayat Samiti headquarters in Dudu and Bassi. Saathins from Panchayat Samitis Dudu, Maujmabad, Fagi, Madhorajpura, and Bassi, Tunga, Andhi, and Jamwaramgarh areas participated.
He also informed that in these training programmes organised under Saksham Jaipur Abhiyan, detailed information is being given about various women friendly schemes including Work from Home Scheme, Chief Minister Udyam Protsahan Yojana, Kalibai Bhil Udaan Yojana. Also, understanding of the relevant acts and rules is being developed so that the Saathins can play an active role in providing the benefits of the schemes to eligible women in their respective areas. Entrepreneurial institutions related to Work from Home Scheme were also invited, who provided guidance on self-employment opportunities.
Dr. Rajesh Dogiwal informed that on February 13, a workshop will be organized for the women of Panchayat Samiti Jalsu, Govindgarh, Jhotwara, Shahpura, Amer and Jamwaramgarh area at Chaumun Panchayat Samiti Headquarters and One Stop Centre at Amer. Whereas on February 16, 2026, orientation programs will be organized for the women of Panchayat Samiti Jobner, Sambhar, Kishangarh Renwal, Chaksu, Kotkhavda and Sanganer area at Jobner, Sanganer and Chaksu Panchayat Samiti Headquarters.
Through these workshops, efforts for women empowerment are being accelerated and maximum benefits of the schemes are being ensured to eligible women.
