A Vision Board workshop was organized on Tuesday under the Rajasthan Rural Livelihoods Development Council (Rajeevika) with the objective of enhancing the capabilities, self-reliance, and long-term livelihood strengthening of women artisans. This workshop was conducted by the Kamala Poddar Institute.

The workshop was graced by the presence of Dr. Ramanika Kaur, State Project Manager, Non-Farm, from Rajeevika, along with the expert team from Kamala Poddar Institute, including Jasmeet Kaur, Shruti, and other members. In this workshop, the women participants worked on planning for the next five years, looking beyond their short-term income.  Emphasis was placed on dreaming big and developing strategies to achieve those dreams through systematic development.  Dimensions that accelerate business expansion were also discussed. As the main activity of the workshop, the participating artisans created vision boards, in which they set small, achievable goals for the next five years. Through this activity, aspirations related to business expansion, financial stability, social recognition, children’s education, a better standard of living, and self-reliance were creatively presented.
A total of 20 women artisans from various districts of the state actively participated in this workshop. The vision board activity instilled confidence, clear goal setting, and motivation for long-term planning among the participants.
This workshop, organized under Rajeevika, is proving to be a significant initiative in empowering women artisans, strengthening their enterprises, and moving them towards sustainable livelihoods.
