Regarding the proposed “1008 Kundiya Yagya and grand Sanatan Mahaanushthan” in West Bengal, revered Acharya Shri Ramchandra Das Ji Maharaj met with the Chief Minister and discussed in detail the preparations and objectives of the event. During the meeting, the Chief Minister expressed enthusiasm for the event and assured the administration of all possible support for a peaceful and well-organized religious event.

Acharya Shri said that after nearly 500 years, such a large-scale Sanatan event is going to be held on the land of Bengal. He said that the land of Bengal has been a center of religion, devotion, and spiritual consciousness for centuries. Great personalities like Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa, and Swami Vivekananda spread the message of Indian spirituality and Sanatan culture to the world from this land.
Jagadguru Rambhadracharya’s presence described as a historic occasion

The Chief Minister informed Acharya Shri that Jagadguru Shri Rambhadracharya Ji Maharaj is also delighted to come to Bengal to conduct this grand ritual. Acharya Shri said that his presence will be an important spiritual occasion for the Sanatan society of Bengal.He said that now is the time to connect the new generation with their roots, values, and cultural heritage. He called upon families to reconnect with their original Sanatan traditions, saying that there should be no hesitation in returning to their culture and traditions.
Mass Hanuman Chalisa recitation at 1008 locations

At the meeting, Acharya Shri informed that Ramanand Mission has resolved to organize mass Hanuman Chalisa recitations at 1008 locations across West Bengal. The campaign’s special focus is to connect youth, students, and Gen Z with Sanatan culture, values, and Indian heritage.According to Acharya Shri, the new generation needs to understand that Sanatan tradition is not just an identity, but a rich spiritual and cultural heritage spanning thousands of years. Engaging the youth and spreading devotion, values, social harmony, and Sanatan consciousness to the masses will be the mission’s primary objective.Expressing happiness over this pledge, the Chief Minister said that preserving Bengal’s spiritual and cultural heritage is a matter of pride for the state. He assured necessary administrative support and coordination for religious events.

Appreciating the development work underway in Bengal, Acharya Shri said that Bengal, which moves forward while preserving its cultural and spiritual heritage along with development, can set an example for the entire country.

He also expressed happiness over the Chief Minister’s respect and affection for the Sanatan community and Sanatan traditions.The organizers have described the proposed 1008 Kundiya Yagya and Virat Sanatan Mahaanushthan as an important initiative towards connecting the spiritual heritage of Bengal with the new generation and strengthening the socio-cultural consciousness.
