Medicines and raw materials worth approximately ₹4 crore seized
Nearly 1,500 cartons of medicines recovered from an unlicensed warehouse

Jaipur. Principal Secretary, Medical and Health, Gayatri Rathore, stated that strict action is being taken against those operating unlicensed drug trades in the state. In this context, the Drug Control Team conducted a major operation in Bhiwadi, seizing medicines and raw materials worth approximately ₹4 crore.
Gayatri Rathore stated that based on confidential information received by the department, a joint team of officials from the Commissionerate Headquarters, Jaipur, Alwar, and Dausa, raided the unlicensed warehouse of Stress Health Care, Bhiwadi. Approximately 1,500 cartons of medicines and other materials were seized.
The Principal Secretary stated that during the investigation, various medicines from different companies were found. These included tablets Medicub-55 (Diclofenac Sodium 50 mg) and Erikava manufactured by Condor Healthcare, Lalru (Punjab), tablets Chaka Pain Extra, tablets Ladynex, and Hygra 200 manufactured by Opal Healthcare, Karnal (Haryana), tablets Pilprofoxacin-500 manufactured by Alexa Pharmaceuticals, Baddi, District Solan (Himachal Pradesh), and tablets Oxypur Plus manufactured by Unisharp Organics Private Limited, Lalru, SAS Nagar (Mohali), Punjab. These medicines were being sold in the market by Strain Health Care, Bhiwadi.
He stated that nine samples have been taken to test the quality of the medicines. Additionally, raw materials used in the manufacture of medicines, including tapentadol, pregabalin, and cotrimoxazole, packaging materials, and equipment used in the manufacture of medicines were also seized from the warehouse. Expired sildenafil tablets were also found at the scene.
Principal Secretary Gayatri Rathore stated that negligence regarding public health will not be tolerated. To ensure the quality of medicines and their proper sale, strict action will be taken against those who possess, manufacture, or sell medicines without a license.
Drug Control Commissioner Avichal Chaturvedi stated that the drug administrations of Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh have been informed of the companies whose medicines were seized during the operation, so that the relevant companies can be investigated and necessary action can be taken. Teams of drug control officers have been sent to the respective states for further investigation.
This action was taken under the direction of Drug Controller Ajay Phatak by a team of drug control officers from Jaipur, Dausa and Bharatpur including Subhash Mutneja, Assistant Drug Controller, Commissionerate Headquarters, Mahendra Junwal, Assistant Drug Controller, Alwar, Ramkesh Meena, Assistant Drug Controller, Dausa and Alwar.
