The Re-NEET UG-2026 examination is scheduled to be held on June 21 in several districts of the state, including Jodhpur. The 11th International Yoga Day program will also take place across the state on the same day. To ensure the peaceful and orderly conduct of both events, Jodhpur District In-charge Secretary Bhawani Singh Detha held a meeting with concerned officials at the Atal Seva Kendra (district headquarters) on Thursday, reviewed the preparations, and issued necessary directives.
The In-charge Secretary stated that the Re-NEET UG-2026 exam would be conducted at 46 centers in the district, with admit cards issued to 15,407 candidates. He directed that all arrangements be ensured in a time-bound manner for the fair, transparent, and malpractice-free conduct of the exam. He placed special emphasis on the secure storage and transportation of question papers and confidential material, biometric verification of candidates, two-tier frisking, security arrangements at exam centers, and continuous monitoring systems.
He instructed District Collector Alok Ranjan to ensure regular monitoring through the district-level coordination committee. Additionally, he gave orders for the deployment of adequate police force at exam centers, the appointment and training of duty magistrates, the maintenance of law and order around the centers, and effective surveillance against cheating and suspicious activities. He also directed that activities such as e-Mitra services, photocopying, and cyber cafes within a 300-meter radius of the exam centers be regulated in accordance with the rules.
The In-charge Secretary also reviewed preparations for the district-level International Yoga Day program scheduled for June 21 at Samrat Ashok Udyan. He issued instructions to boost public participation by maximizing registrations on the ‘Yoga Sangam’ portal and to ensure the program’s success on a grand scale.  He instructed all Sub-Divisional Officers to ensure the effective organization of Yoga Day events at the sub-division and Gram Panchayat levels, to boost the participation of public representatives, prominent citizens, and the general public, and to carry out extensive publicity. Additionally, relevant departments were directed to coordinate effectively to ensure the timely availability of microphones, yoga mats, drinking water, medical facilities, and other necessary arrangements at the event venues.
The Secretary-in-Charge stated that yoga is the foundation of a healthy lifestyle. He emphasized that International Yoga Day should be used to inspire the general public to incorporate yoga into their daily lives. He called upon all departments to make concerted efforts to ensure the success of both events.
District Collector Alok Ranjan, JDA Commissioner Utsah Chaudhary, Zila Parishad CEO Ashish Kumar Mishra, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Rahul Jain, and ADM (First) Jawahar Chaudhary, along with officials from relevant departments, were present at the meeting.
