An Innovative Initiative by Minister Madan Dilawar

Jaipur. A special online public hearing, organized at the initiative of Panchayati Raj Minister Madan Dilawar, emerged as an effective platform for providing relief to villagers. Conducted on Wednesday from the DoIT center at the Kota District Collector’s office, this hearing enabled residents from seven selected Gram Panchayats across the state to interact directly with the Minister, present their grievances, and receive immediate solutions.
While listening to the villagers’ issues via video conferencing, Minister Dilawar ensured the prompt resolution of grievances related to the Education and Panchayati Raj departments and issued directives to concerned officials regarding complaints involving other departments. Several cases were resolved on the spot, providing immediate relief to the complainants. He instructed officials to personally visit the sites to assess the ground reality and ensure the speedy resolution of problems.
During the hearing, instructions were issued to provide benefits to eligible beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and cases concerning old-age pensions were resolved immediately. Additionally, relief was provided to the public in the Simalwara Gram Panchayat of Dungarpur district by ordering the removal of bushes growing along both sides of the road.
Minister Dilawar listened attentively to the grievances of women, the elderly, and people from various sections of society, directing officials to resolve them on a priority basis and submit reports. His sensitive approach reflects the government’s accountability towards villagers and its commitment to public welfare.
This special online public hearing proved to be an innovative and commendable initiative towards bringing good governance and prompt administrative services to rural areas. It not only saved the public’s time and resources but also provided them with the opportunity to present their concerns directly to the Minister from their own villages.
The Gram Panchayats included in this special public hearing were Piplantri (Rajsamand district), Kawai (Baran district), Panchu (Bikaner district), Mandfiya (Chittorgarh district), Singri (Pali district), Dahmi Kalan (Jaipur district), and Simalwara (Dungarpur district). Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) and Additional Chief Executive Officers of the respective districts, Block Development Officers (BDOs), Village Development Officers, Tehsildars and Patwaris of the concerned tehsils, engineers, public representatives, and a large number of villagers were present at the public hearing.
